Studio News: Our Partnership with Nederlander Theatres

We’re thrilled to be partnering with Nederlander Theatres, to craft a new brand identity and website for the internationally renowned theatre company.

Nederlander Theatres is part of the Nederlander Organization, one of the largest and most successful theatre operators and producers in the world. The Nederlander name has been synonymous with show business since David T Nederlander’s first acquisition of the Detroit Opera House in 1912. Since then, the organisation has grown to include nine Broadway theatres – making it the second-largest owner of Broadway theatres. They also own a number of other theatres across the US, including five large theatres in Chicago.

Here in the UK, the family-run company operates three theatres in London: The Aldwych Theatre, Dominion Theatre, and Adelphi Theatre (in partnership with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s LW Theatres).

All situated in London’s dazzling West End, the Nederlander venues are renowned for their successful productions that attract thousands of visitors every year. Currently, The Aldwych Theatre is home to the premiere production of TINA – the Tina Turner Musical, while The King and I will soon open at the Dominion Theatre, and the Adelphi Theatre is currently running Back to the Future: The Musical.

Our role is to work collaboratively with the team at Nederlander to craft a modern brand that’s built upon legacy and prestige, and will provide consistency, differentiation, and trust with show-goers.

To kick-off the project, our team will be visiting The Dominion followed by The Aldwych Theatre, to experience a matinee show of TINA and fully immerse ourselves in the world of show business. We can’t wait to get stuck in.

“We’re delighted to be working with Nederlander UK. Their theatres have such a rich history and are visited by so many people each year, so it’s great to think that our work will add to and elevate that experience even further.

Visiting a West End show is an experience like no other, and we hope to capture that sense of magic in our work.”
