The start of a new year always helps to establish a bit of grounding in the future direction of travel. An opportunity to look at what’s worked well from the previous year, to refine and tweak as needed.
In the Chinese Zodiac, 2025 was the Year of the Snake. Symbolic of renewal, wisdom, and transformative growth. In contrast 2026 – the Year of the Horse – is all about vitality, stamina and energy. A dynamic shift that focuses more on bold moves and renewed purpose.
Whether you connect to Chinese symbolism or not, one thing’s for sure – this past year at Fiasco has been one of change. We’ve been fine tuning who we are and what we do best. Learning, iterating, improving. Shedding old skin and levelling up.
That means sharpening our focus, tightening up how we work, and doubling down on what makes Fiasco distinct in its approach. We’ve seen team growth, produced award-winning work, and said yes to bigger, bolder projects.
Now, as we look ahead, we do so with clarity, confidence, and momentum.
Here’s where our focus will be in the coming year.
Hero Feeling-First as our Core Differentiator
In 2025 we underwent a rebrand to reposition the agency and what it is we do best: drive businesses forward with feeling. This sits at the heart of everything we do. Our sharpened proposition sets the tone for the type of work we produce and clients we want to work with.
Ultimately, It’s about making people feel something. That emotional connection is what builds trust, sparks action, and drives real business growth.
More Collaboration
Our rebrand involved a huge collaboration from all people within the business. This set the tone for how we’ll continue to work moving forward; more collaboration across internal teams to unlock sharper thinking and better outcomes.
Externally, we’re aiming for deeper, more open collaboration with partners and specialists – so we can move faster, think bigger. Our ethos is that great work doesn’t happen in isolation – we’ll be living by this mantra in all we do.
Deeper Partnerships
The quality of our relationships is integral to the way we do business. We recently transitioned from an Accounts to a Client Partnerships team to better reflect our mindset: shared ambition, moving forward together with relationships built on honesty, curiosity and care.
This year is about strengthening what we do best. That means investing (even more) time to understand our clients’ businesses and showing up as proactive partners. The same applies to our wider network: fewer, deeper relationships built on trust, shared values, and mutual growth.
Tighter Processes
We spent some time last year reviewing why we do what we do – and asking ourselves whether it still works. We wanted to strip back the clunky parts that hold us up, giving us more time to focus on what matters; the quality of the work we deliver and the relationships we build.
We consolidated our workstreams and upgraded our tools – including integrating AI more deeply into our workflow. We’ll continue to refine our processes to streamline delivery and remove unwanted friction.
Elevate Our Team of Specialists
Our people are our greatest asset and in 2025 we brought in new faces, experiences and energy. In 2026, we’ll continue to elevate our team by developing their expertise and leaning into more of people’s unique areas of speciality. We’ll focus on giving our team the space to do this well, supporting career progression, and creating clear pathways for growth.
This includes leadership development, mentoring, and giving our team the space to specialise while staying connected to the bigger picture.
2026 is all about intention. Building on the lessons of 2025 to focus on doing fewer things better, strengthening the relationships that matter, and creating the conditions for our people and our partners to do their best work. This is our next chapter—grounded, ambitious, and ready to build what’s next. Bring it on!
