Beyond B Corp: Here for what’s next

For the past few years we’ve been going after B Corp certification. This journey has been about matching our everyday practice with policies, and shoring up our commitment to people and the planet.

And we’re proud to have passed with flying colours. So, what now?

Putting people first

This is just the beginning. B Corp status is a change for us, but in some ways it’s business very much as usual. So we’ll continue to celebrate this culture of creativity, collaboration and kindness. Why? Because that’s why we’re thriving. Our people got us here. Our people make us tick. As a collective, we’re constantly curious. We’ll never stop pushing boundaries, creating meaningful work, and ensuring everyone feels valued.

More perspectives means better representation and a richer decision-making process, so we’ll keep actively engaging with everyone our work touches. B Corp certification isn’t a ‘one-and-done’ thing; it’s an opportunity to continuously evolve. So we’ll draw on everyone around us — employees, clients, business partners, fellow creatives and the broader community — to keep Fiasco moving in the right direction.

Transparency, always

This is an important extension of the above. We’ve taken you on our journey to B Corp, from the point we made the decision through to recently announcing our success. Why stop now? We wouldn’t dream of it. Our trajectory is important to everyone involved, from contributors and collaborators to clients — we’ll stay open and honest about how things are progressing now we’ve bagged B Corp status.

The road to recertification

As a new B Corp, we’ve now got three years until our first reassessment. We’ve got lots in mind for this period, and some big ideas already in the works. We’re excited to see how we can keep bettering ourselves, and bring a fresh take on what it means to be a B Corp company.

We’re making a pledge to increase our revenue from purpose-driven businesses to over 50% of annual turnover. Do you have a business that creates positive impact, for society or the planet? If so we’d love to hear from you.
