Tala is a young, British lighting brand with a mission to create beautifully designed products that have a positive impact on the environment. Guided by the founding promise of ‘Conservation through Beauty’, they are on a mission to accelerate the low carbon economy with thoughtful product design and transparent practices.
We were brought onboard to create an experience-focused, content rich website and eCommerce store that reflects the company’s brand values of design, sustainability and technology.
As part of the redesign of the website we helped Tala to develop their branding for a digital audience – developing font hierarchies and colour palettes; designing iconography and using lighting as a design principle to inform subtle interactions and animation.

With a view to create a visually rich experience, we worked with the team at Tala to push the use of imagery and video on the website. We advised on the production of video for the site, including novel ways to show the design and scale of their products.
Fiasco impressed us with their understanding of the Tala brand and product, while offering creative solutions for growing our client base and building a new responsive, content rich eCommerce experience. Since the website launched in June 2018, our eCommerce conversion rate has seen significant growth, while order numbers are set to treble from the previous year’s performance.
