“It’s not the destination, it’s the adventure along the way”
On Tuesday, we were very kindly invited to attend the premiere of Art of Flight, a new snowboard documentary from the Red Bull Media House.
The good folks at Red Bull contacted us and asked if we would like to attend the screening at the Cinema Deluxe, Bristol. After seeing the trailer for the film, we couldn’t turn down such a great opportunity.
The Art of Flight is an insight into the thought process of some of the worlds best snowboarders including Travis Rice, Nicolas Muller and Mark Landvik who are all pioneers in their field. The film follows these riders as they take on some of the toughest terrain and steepest slopes in the world. The film itself took over two years to make and it’s clear that a huge amount of love and consideration went into the making of this documentary.
Shot using state of the art digital cinema and film equipment, the ultra high definition look and awe inspiring camera angles mixed with stunning snowy back drops was a thing of sheer beauty. Every element of the film seemed to fall into place perfectly and it was held together with an inspiring soundtrack.
We highly suggest that you go and see this film. You don’t have to be a snowboarder to appreciate its beauty. Be warned however, you will be extremely tempted to pop into the nearest travel agents and book a holiday on the slopes!
Quite simply beautiful. Another success from the Red Bull team who continue to raise the bar with their media events.
